I'm getting old so my body wakes me up to go to the restroom in the middle of the night. And no matter how many times I say "please don't let it be five, please don't let it be five" anytime this happens, it is always 4:55 and I have to get up. But then I just sit and stare at the TV because my brain doesn't want to get going.
I am so exhausted from long evenings and short sleeping hours. This is probably why I get sick every year at the beginning of the school year. I just got off antibiotics so I'm not sure what is going to happen, but I'm hoping I can get some rest this weekend even though it is packed with activities.
I have jury duty Monday. I report at 12:15 so I'm going to work for the first two classes. There is never a good day to miss school and next Monday is no exception.
I'm doing the Village Table thing tomorrow morning after a very long absence. Getting up on a Saturday morning seemed fine last weekend when I was well rested. I hope this will help me get dinner under control because I've really done a poor job this week with eating healthy. Part of it is also the late, late nights. We should have a week of school and then a workday the next Monday so we can catch up with everything.
And tonight? A rehearsal with kids from 5 - 7 and then waiting for them to picked up. But on the plus side, it is Friday. In the meantime stop by Photine and check out my artist statement. It turns out they won't be used, but I put some time into it and it has helped me reflect on my photos and about my style.
