Details, details, details

Onesome: "Details-- are everything!", or so it is said. Are you a details person? ...or a big picture person?

Can you be both? I can see the big picture and all the details that need to be checked off to accomplish the big picture, I just don't like doing the details.

Twosome: Details-- (in the military definition) can be a royal pain: what routine detail at your job/school/home would you cheerfully off-load to someone else?

LESSON PLANS. It's not like I don't know what I am doing in my class, but lesson plans are an incredible timesink. We have to enter them into the computer and it is twice the work for me because I need a hard copy that I can keep with me during the week and then I have to enter it into the computer for the district (and you can't print from what you enter into the computer). I've tried typing them up and copying/pasting but that just doesn't work as well for me as hand writing them. I hate doing lesson plans.

Threesome: Details-- and devils: what are you willing to work on nearly endlessly until you "get it right"?

My online presence, especially the look of my websites and the way I present information. I have fussed endlessly over my websites, tweaking until I am happy with the way things look. Now you would think that I could just learn website design and then I could really have control over things, but just thinking about learning that stuff makes my head hurt. I'm fine with learning to endlessly tweak the content management systems.

How about you? When you're ready, post your answers in your own space, and leave a comment here so we can find you!
