A place to rest my head

I've booked my hotel for Chicago!  Woot!  It is hard to believe that this is really happening.  I look back at that post I wrote in January when I could scarcely believe that I could pull it off and now here I am!  Oh, and did I tell you that I *did* get tickets to Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me! This trip is going to be awesome.

I used Priceline to book my hotel.  What I really like about Priceline is that it is all paid in advance.  I don't have to worry about having that money with me when I go.  When I travel to San Antonio for conventions I always ask to pay the day I check in.  That way it is taken care of and I don't have to worry about it.  I had it in my head that I would be ok paying $70 a night.  I don't know where I got that number from, but it has been in my head for a few months now.  I know that I could have spent forever manipulating the Priceline system and if they had rejected $70 I would have had to rethink it, but they didn't.

So what did Priceline find for me?  *drumroll* The Hyatt Regency Chicago on Wacker Drive.  Just look at it's location on Google Map.  Look at it! I'm excited.
