Checklist 37: Alley Theatre

As I said in the original checklist post, it is shameful that someone who is a big patron of the arts has not been to one of the premier organizations in the city.  Yesterday I finally rectified that by going to see A Christmas Carol at the Alley Theatre.  The Alley is a nationally known company and has even won a Regional Tony Award.  See?  TONY AWARD!

I finally got to climb those red stairs that I've seen forever from the outside.  I got a surprise and discovered a wonderful second floor outdoor terrace that looks on downtown.  I went to the Hubbard stage which seats about 800 and where there really isn't a bad seat in the house.  And I of course got to enjoy one of my favorite stories of all time.  A successful check off the list.
