Weeks

I just finished one of those weeks.  I'm staying in this weekend to recover.  My aunt was in town just last weekend and my apartment was so nice and neat.  Now it is a disaster area and it is because of the week that was.

Tuesday I went to the 80s sing along as I blogged about. Home at 11:00 and didn't go to sleep until midnight.  Wednesday I had a rehearsal with my 6th graders.  Thursday we had competition and had to load up the buses and take them to Spring.  I was home at 8:30 p.m.  Friday we went to Splashtown Waterpark during the school day.  We were back by the end of the school day, but I stayed after to talk to co-workers in some much needed chat time.  Home by 6:00 p.m.  Combine all of this with leaving every day at 6:45 a.m. to get to school at 7:15 a.m. to help with new cafeteria procedures.

I did not expect last week to be such a whirlwind but it was.  Now I'm hoping for a quiet week.  As quiet as it gets with elementary performances three of the five days, dance rehearsals before and after school for three days and a field trip on Saturday to Galveston.

Well may be the week after that can be quiet.

Tomorrow!
