When I started thinking today about taking a break from Facebook, I realized that I missed blogging.  I miss getting out my thoughts, sharing my photographs and having a record of what I'm doing.  To talk into my own space and not try to keep up with the "Jonses."  To post what I want.

I understand the allure of Facebook.  Instant interaction, comments, likes, connections.  And I would never be able to give it up completely because it is the best way to keep up with family outside of the United States.  But I miss who I was when I was blogging.  I hope there is a little of her still left in here.
