Blacklight Run

There has been a lot of discussion lately in the [insert cute mash-up name here] camp about health and fitness and diet.  It has been hard and painful, but necessary.  I need to get healthier.  It’s not just about me anymore.  

And today all of a sudden, on some wild hare and with no discussion with my other half,  I decided to sign us up for this 5k.  I have 4 months and it doesn’t emphasize speed so I think it will be the perfect first one.  

I want to be one of those people that does the fun runs.  I want to be healthier.  I don’t want to be a couch potato.  I’m scared out of my mind.
