Comal

It already started with Ms. Band Mama.  She is a great cook and I asked her once about which tortillas she liked.  She told me about a brand at HEB that is uncooked (found where they have the raw refrigerated cookie dough).

They really are fantastic.  I didn’t have the right kind of pan so cooking them was hit or miss.  I researched and found out that I needed (ok…well not NEEDED… wanted) a comal.  I finally found one this weekend.  I fear this is going to up my tortilla eating by 1000%.  Tonight I already made shrimp quesadillas.

The tortilla may become as ubiquitous as bread in my house. Off to look at more tortilla recipes!
